Although it is too early to make any definite conclusions, IMR 8208XBR may allow pre-loading for matches. There are those who pre-load now, but they often get burned by extreme changes in the weather.
Ed Hall won the Super Shoot a few years ago with ammo loaded at home. I know that Jim Borden has had success pre-loading his ammunition. If one is going to pre-load with N133 or H322 or the old 8208, he must test thoroughly for a wide load window.
My recent experience with IMR 8208XBR leads me to believe that it could possibly allow one to load at home and shoot all week. I may be completely wrong (it won't be the first time), but this powder is very forgiving of temperature changes. What do you think? James
PS: I hate carrying all that reloading junk across the country.
