Going Long With 7 SAUM

Thanks to everyone who gave input on putting together a 7 SAUM for ELR. It was a long wait for the 1:8 twist preferred barrel tikka prefit. I sent in a dummy and they throated it for the 190 LHT. It seemed like a million parts to order since its a new cartridge and caliber for me.

I have just been increasing powder charge and busting some bowling pins at 520 yards so far. Too dang hot to set up a target and start testing. The garmin shut off from the heat by the time I fired the 12th round yesterday. Single digit SDs right out the gate is a good sign I think...

What powder are you using? I’m finding N560 slightly more accurate than N565. But definitely more testing to do.

3.145 to touch. There is an eric cortina video how to make a dummy round. That is how I arrived at that number.

7 Saum is probably one of the most under rated rounds ever, I'm on my 4th one as while shooting one of my buds always seem to want it more than me. Easy to tune,shoot and deadly.

Also ADG has taken care of the brass issue, my guess is that I could find brass today at 3-4 places on line.
