I am looking at tryin HBN in one of my rifles, if I choose to discontinue it in that barrel, will it be a problem? It sounds like it imbeds in steel so not sure if I can revert back to bare bullets in the same barrel successfully. Anyone done this?

As mentioned above clean the barrel to the metal each time you swap and no worries.
