I have been informed that a package that I sent to a member here was stolen from his mailbox on Monday. It contained 137 pcs. of new Winchester .25-06 brass and some .25 bullets. The PO did it's job correctly. Records show the shipping was completed and delivered to his correct address. Some low life SOB opened his mailbox, snagged it and ran off.

I chose to refund his money and send him a check today. My sales budget can absorb this loss. I hate to see a member here get ripped off.

Now to the "go fund me" part. He wanted that new brass to reform to a custom size 6mm something. .25-06 brass is about non existent looking at several usual sources. Anyone here care to sell him a few, a bag or about 100 pcs?

He does not know I am trying to help him right now. He has his hands full caring for his wife who is recovering from a serious health issue.

Man, that a big reduction to achieve a .243 neck. Possible though. He will be forming to a 6mm-06 based round.

I hate to say so but this is probably correct. Especially given the attitude about firearms related items and shipping services these days.

Much of the downtown areas in Portland and Kenosha have been burned to the ground and to my knowledge no one has been held accountable. Why would brass and bullets rate a raised eyebrow? Something needs to be done, none of the laws have gone away, that I know of, just the will to enforce them.

LOL, not even remotely correct, unless a convenient lightening strike has hit a building so something can be built in place of it.
Businesses are leaving Portland in droves, and many are boarded up, tired of replacing glass fronts. It's nothing like what I remember of the riots of '67 in terms of destruction, but crime is not punished and people do not feel safe.
Even in my community, where liberalism has infected the politics, the police have not suffered any 'defund' insanity and still hold the reputation of being medieval (thankfully). Even so, mail theft and porch piracy garners a "please file a report."

This was a private sale, I did not know his intention for the brass until revealed in a PM. I pulled down the reloaded 37 pcs. of ammo and just added the .25 bullets to the box.

Sounds like you're talking about CHOP in Seattle.
BLM / panty-fa occupied a park in downtown PDX, directly across from the federal courthouse. The rabble then looted surrounding areas, smashed windows and engaged in gratuitous vandalism.
Cops made some arrests, prosecutor released them. Then they went around the city and burned satellite police stations. That has settled down to almost nothing, either parents wised-up and kicked their kids out of the basement, or the lax drug policies of the governments, local state & feds, have turned them all into zombies with readily available fentanyl.
Now the problem is violent, drug related crime.

Before all this, the homeless situation was pretty bad. Now it's much worse.
