Glue-in for Repeater

In the past I have bedded all my rifles. Is it inadvisable to do a glue-in on a repeater with a single shot follower? Can a follower be glued in without getting glue in the action? I would probably do a removable action but if the glue in has benefits, maybe they could work on a repeater too.

I have glued in a bunch with followers for br rigs back in the day. I fill in any crack around the follower with clay then glue it in like it was a 40x. If you use the ptg followers just put 5min epoxy around the edges and slide it in- its a leakproof fit

Thanks Dusty, that's what I was wondering. A post you wrote on a different thread made me wonder if it would be workable.

Yes sir no problem. I had one glued in for a long time- just popped it out a couple weeks ago to go in a new stock. Let us know how it goes

I have a 722 with a single shot follower that is glued into a McMilan benchrest stock with. trigger pin holes to allow trigger removal. No problems in over 20 years. Very accurate…
