Glock full auto switches

One thing never changes, ... you can always find an interesting conversation on line. It may be true that our government would never do such a thing as sting Americans, however if that were true, it would have been many, many, many, (feel free to add as many many's as you want) decade's ago.

If the government doesn't do that then what the hell is that going on in congress, on TV right now? Just one of the things about this current stupidity show that bothers me is that these people actually think their so smart that the average American doesn't see through this garbage, ... really?

At least one of these government agencies was pretty much created to stop people from owning automatic weapons, you don't think "their" not watching? That's their job description.

Even though I feel that most people don't need, nor should have this type of item or even the bump stock, it is a god given right to do so, if they want and that would fall into the rights given by the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights, i.e. the 2nd Amendment.
And as for so many not seeing the trend with the present day politicians in Congress and the senate wanting to take away more than one of those rights and banning or confiscating certain or all firearms, they had better get their heads out of the sand and see what is going on. They just can not see than those politicians are not just after the right to own firearms, it will include other rights as well, i.e. freedom of speech, print and even worship to name a few.
The really sad and scary part is, it seems, that more everyday are falling for this logic and direction pushed by those politicians.

Wow .... I didn’t even know these existed. What a waste. LOL
Well, guess I’ll crawl back under my rock for a long nap.
If you learn to use them, they're magnificently effective and not that hard to control, to a point. I have some pretty substantial time behind a slew of Glocks that were so equipped. It is a machine gun and there's no getting around that but it's also still just a pisol. At pistol combat distances I had very little trouble at all building the skill needed to keep a mag full of .45's on an IPSC target. What's really nifty with them is if you get the knack down it's a breeze to let off a 2-3 round burst which is IMHO a bit more controllable than the average joe can pull off a super fast double tap (as opposed to a "controlled pair" where it's only as fast a can be done accurately). The one problem I've had with full auto glocks has been clipping anything to the built-in rail. The frames have so much flex that whatever I put on the rail eventually flies off, sometimes catching a bullet on the way.

Let's say I was a foreign power intent on destabilizing the US government, and was also one that has the world's biggest manufacturing and distribution system. I also was interested in disarming the world's most heavily armed civilian population, in case of a planned future invasion, by promoting a civil war within that country and taking advantage during the chaos afterward.

In that case, I'd be making and shipping tons of items like this.

Some people play Checkers. Others prefer to play Chess.

The Glock 18 is controllable and will allow 3-5 shot bursts with practice. When the pistol was introduced, I had the fortune of shooting it at the state police range near my post. I think I ran thru 100 rounds but near the end had decent groups with it using the burst control method. It's not easy but I think if I had 500 rounds to work with, I could do ok. Definitely wouldn't be a defense pistol to carry. More of a novelty item to burn up ammo with

Would this be a "conspiracy theory" Tex?

As I understand the law, it is entirely legal to purchase and own these, as long as you do not own a Glock. The same is true for the full auto kits for the AR's.

However if you own a glock or AR and purchase a kit, even if you do not install it, it is considered a Prima Facie case that you have the means and will to make the conversion and therefor are guilty.
