Glock full auto switches

Good friend is a class 3 dealer. He has a dealer sample of the Glock select fire pistol, will empty the factory 30 or is it 33 round magazine PDQ. With a lot of practice you can get 2 and 3 shot burst. Would need a lot of training to do that in a stressful situation.

Close range SHTF firearm for sure.

There were a bunch of these (presumably Chinese copies) sold on Amazon and wish.com a few months ago as “airsoft parts”. ATF noticed and apparently has been tracking down buyers.

My guess is that amazon is cooperating with ATF and they’re just following the trail.

I have fired one, almost impossible to control. Have a hard time to imagine any situation where it would be useful. Need a shoulder stock to be able to control it.

There is a kit on Amazon that they call a fuel filter kit. It is in fact a tube, end pieces, and baffles that are undrilled for caliber to make a suppressor. The cost is $11-14 depending on size. I bet the ATF is tracing these closer than the head of Al Qaeda.

I know someone in another country who actually was one who bought those from wish.com (and that's where it was). He bought a grip of them. A lot were sent to USA buyers and the feds are super not happy about it.

Regarding the conspiracy theorists: ATF didn't sell these, CHINA did. We know you conspiracy guys are hammers and everything looks like a conspiracy nail but the real world allows just stuff to happen without being part of some satanic gubbermint cabal.

The atf has been known to run sting operations. These are being sold by “elite tribe” on amazon. The authorities were waiting as he picked up the pkg. they say the post office found them during an inspection- who believes anybody that works for the post office knew what they were, and if the eagle eyes at the post office DID find them why dont they find all the drugs being shipped thru there- they actually know what that is. That was a cover so people wouldnt think the atf is running the sting but i think most can see thru that.

Right. But fast and furious was a thing, and nobody chimed in to tell them that was a bad idea. But yes, I agree these are Chinese and ATF is probably just trying to track them all down.

If it was an ATF sting, which by definition means they were stinging Americans, why would they sell 6 of those to someone I know in a non-USA country? They wouldn't. With all due respect Dusy, trying to poke me in the eye with, "yeah, but...." is wasting both of our time, not adding anything to the convesation (rather the opposite in fact) and providing ample evidence of my point about conspiracy theories and those that engage in them.

I know exactly how the guy got caught. US CBP does in fact inspect parcel mail coming in and leaving the USA through our port of entry inspection facilities. When a package is suspicious, like the contents don't appear to be what the declaration says they are, the package gets pulled, inspected and if the CPB agent inspecting the package is the least bit unsure, they'll kick it up the flagpole to someone who is "an expert" (I question that assertion myself but let's roll with it because that's their definition, not mine) yay or nay. Nobody has to know what they are or are not looking at. What they have to do is have anything suspicious to get flagged and then the people with the knowledge/tools/skills come in and finish up.

I doubt many people here have ever seen much less tried black tar heroin or cocaine or speed or even smelled sassafras oil. I bet you 20 bucks that if someone dropped a baggie or vial of any of those things in front of you though that you'd know it was not probably something legal and that it was probably something that's an illegal narcotic. You don't need to know exactly what something is to know it's probably not legit.

Ive had some time behind various subguns and M16 types. I tried the Glock with the 33 round mag. To my shame about two rounds went into the target, the next thirty one went sweeping up and right, and several thru the range tin roof...I felt like a dam fool. Worthless firearm in my mind.

The original story is just a news report about an arrest, I wouldn't expect the "details" they provide have really much to do with how the operation actually went down. I don't mean that to suggest there's a conspiracy involved, it's just the nature of journalism. Story was probably typed up in 20 min by somebody who's just going by what the police put out and they're on to their next report.
