Glass bedding?

hi everyone,

I had a question in mind. Do expensive rifles like the steyr SSG 08, Blaser LRS2, Sako TRG, etc, need glass bedding to improve their accuracy?
And what measures can be taken to improve the accuracy of such rifles?

Thank you.

Bedding very rarely will result in less accuracy. However, rather than do it from the get-go, I like to shoot a rifle quite a bit first, to determine if its accuracy is acceptable just the way it is, before going the bedding route. This advice is worth what it cost you. 8)

I have a Kimber M84 Longmaster. That rifle came freefloated and glass bedded from the factory>>>and it shoots! I believe a Kimber qualifies as an "expensive" rifle..
