Giraud trimmer question

I recently bought a .308 tri way trimmer second hand and cannot get the trimmer to cut the case length without leaving a large burr on the outside edge of brass rim I checked to make sure the cutter blade inserted the correct way around and that the blade adjusted with the case entering the V of the cutter also only one side of the cutter seems to have previously been used which should leave plenty of cutting life in the blade the only thing i can think of is that the Trimmer came with wrong blade for .308 brass could this be possible are there different sized blades for different calibers.

Just call the guys at Giraud instead of getting opinions of some that don't own one? This is your best bet, I'm sure they'll have you covered! Good luck!
