Giraud Tri-Way vs Power trimmer

I noticed the tri-way isn’t available for the 6ppc. I asked the owner why and he said the tri-way is geared more toward mass processing and the oal results aren’t as consistent as the power trimmer so he didn’t bother with the precision rifle cartridges.

I’m not sure why that would be but I don’t have either in hand to know the difference. For those of you with a tri-way, how much variation in OAL do you get?

<.001' . . . as long as the base to shoulder datum is consistent.

So basically the same as the WFT and similar trimmers. Thats what I would expect, so I’m not sure why they won’t make one for 6ppc.
I don't know why he'd say there's such a difference when using the Power Trimmer. Basically, both tools work the same for trimming. Though I've never used the Power Trimmer, the key to both for getting consistent trims is developing a consistent feel for how hard one is pressing each case into the trimmer.
