I have done the same. Works like a champ.I have the Girard as well. Set up for a slew of cartridges. Its a bitch to get set up perfectly. But when its there its done. Thats why I do a cutter for every cartridge. Then I dont have to readjust anything.

I’d be interested in a good shot of the inner neck and chamfer right after being reamed. I tried the Henderson and won’t be going back down that road. Just curious as to what that is doing to your inner necks and your chamfers. In the end, all that matters is that you’re happy. Glad it’s working for you.I use a Gen3 Henderson for 204, 223, 243, 243AI, 6PPC, 6BR, 6CM, 6ARC, 6GT, 25SST, 6.5-284, 6.5CM, 308, 7PRC, 300PRC and 338LM
Inside neck marring can happing if you push neck bushing a little tight. That can easily be mitigated by either turning down the pilot or reducing the bushing.
I also replaced my pilot with a reamer. I now inside neck ream, trim, chamfer and deburr in one step.
This will true the inside of the neck, remove any doughnut and provides a great finish inside the neck.

Should’ve. Shown the ones in the video after reaming. I suspect they aren’t pretty. Either way. As long as you’re happy. That’s all that matters.6PPC

A lot better on the hands!!!Yes, I will be loading for 17FB, 20VT, 20SCC, 20P and 223. Watching videos I saw that the Henderson might be a little better on the hands.
Incorrect, they include one (of your choice of calibers) with your order, at least they did when I purchased mine a little over 2 years ago.funny I’m looking more and more of the two and saw Henderson doesn’t come with a cutter to begin with which is little irritating.
The more and more I look at the Hornady I see where they implanted what the Henderson lacked the micrometer adjustment
Oh well that’s great to hear. I thought they only included a collet of your choiceIncorrect, they include one (of your choice of calibers) with your order, at least they did when I purchased mine a little over 2 years ago.
If the Hornady is as well built and cuts as consistently as the Henderson, I would go with it because of the advantages it offers. Same cutter head adjusts to work with different calibers, no belts, and most important, micro adjustable with the simple click of a knob.funny I’m looking more and more of the two and saw Henderson doesn’t come with a cutter to begin with which is little irritating.

There’s nothing to this argument/feature.and most important, micro adjustable with the simple click of a knob
Henderson heads can adjust to any caliber it just needs a $4 dollar pilot for the caliber, if thats the way you wish to go. Belts are a good thing, it's a safety net like a clutch or a shear pin, keeps stupid people from doing damage. Once the the stops are setup on the Henderson for a cartridge, it's much faster to make a cartridge change over than the micro adjust. And I guarantee the Henderson's build quality is better than Hornandy if it's like any of their other items. If the Hornady is as well built and cuts as consistently as the Henderson, I would go with it because of the advantages it offers. You obviously have not seen how the micro-stop on the Hornady is set up or how the Hornady works. The micro adjust has nothing to do with changing a cartridge over. It is used to adjust the trim length. It is click adjustable .001 per click. You can click in a second or less. You have to use an open face wrench and Allen wrench to adjust trim length on the Henderson. This takes about a minute after you find the correct wrenches and is not at all precise, meaning that you may have to do it several times to get the length right. It’s a pia. Slower and less precise than the Giraud.Once the the stops are setup on the Henderson for a cartridge, it's much faster to make a cartridge change over than the micro adjust.
You are not guaranteeing anything. You are again speculating about something you have know knowledge of.And I guarantee the Henderson's build quality is better than Hornandy if it's like any of their other items
