Ginex Primers

A few months ago, someone posted about Ginex primers from Europe and available from Grafs. I have done some looking around the internet and here, but there is almost no information on them. Most info involves pistol primers.
Has anyone stepped out and bought some rifle primers to test? I am interested in the LR and LRM variety. Would like to know mainly how they fit in the primer pockets, loose or tight, and do they give reliable ignition.

Take a look at PV INC.. prices seem to be a bit better on those primers..

I never even heard of them before this post. Went to Powder Valley and sure enough there they are. Maybe someone will chime in that has used the. And maybe tell us what they measure.

ninety views and no info. I guess shooting Ginex primers is like riding a MoPed. Fun to do but you do not want to let your friends see you do it.
Never heard of them. Maybe you could buy some and measure and check out the fit and report back here what you found.

I have some recent experience with these. I ordered a few cases for the shop and a customer picked up 1K of the SRM primers to try. He brought them back a few days later and said he couldn't get them to seat. I took a few in the back and tried to seat them in a .223 case and confirmed that they would not seat. I tried to seat them using the priming arm on a Rockchucker - no joy, applying unreasonable force. I called the wholesaler and was told that it had been brought to their attention - a lot of the SRMs were known to be oversize and Ginex was working to correct the problem.

Not the best of first impressions . . .

I wrote about them several years ago here. Shot well but had issues when priming Lapua Palma and even more with their .223 brass. In the end I called the Bomb Squad (only ones who would take them) and gave them 3500 pieces to get rid of them.

I’ve tested the large rifle. They are super tight fitting. I have to use my rcbs ram prime to seat them. However, accuracy has been excellent, better than CCI in my load testing.

Emphasis on the super tight. I had to use strength in both hands with the Frankford arsenal hand primer.

I first learned about Genix primers seven years ago while shooting several Mosin-Nagants , and PPU Brass . The PPU for the M-N was rather soft , and getting good loads tended to stretch the pp's after four or five reloads . In conversation with Lester Bruno , he suggested them and I bought a 1k pack . Reload count on the PPU cases went up to 15 or more , so it was worth it in the long run . If you have some "good" cases , that the pockets are getting larger , it wouldn't be a bad idea to give them a try . And you get to SAVE your nice cases , instead of wearing them out in practice . As others have said . They are a very good primer , over-all . And very consistent on the SD / ES side . And for those who need to know , They are made in Bosnia and Herzegovina . And if Grafs has some SRP's , I'll give them a buzz , and get another 1k . ;):D:D:D

I cussed and discussed these things and bought some to fit some 6.5x55 cases with stretched pockets. Had no joy seating them with my old Lee hand primers. Tried using the RCBS attachment on my Rock Chucker. No luck.
I started to chunk them but me being me, I horded them for some reason. Somewhere along the line I bought an RCBS bench primer. After fiddling and adjusting on it, the Genix magically started seating them perfectly.
I wish I could find some more!

They work! They are hard to seat in virgin brass. Don't know if they are a hair bigger or a harder cup. AN article I read stated that all the NATO countries use ammo made with Ginex primers.
