Getting rid of donuts

What is the best way to get rid of donuts inside my 6XC necks that have already been formed ? Should I use a neck reamer reamer ?

There are two ways that I know of. One is to use a reamer to cut it out. The other is to use an expander to push the donut out, then use a neck turner to cut it off.

Use a neck reamer - it is gone and you have not cut into the shoulder, weakening it.

The only time I cut into the shoulder is when I initially do the neck turning, and then I only kiss the shoulder with the proper angled cutter.
I'd like to know how many firings (on average with 30degree shoulder) before the donut reappears, since this material (I believe) is migrating from the shoulder?
