Somewhere in this forum I recall reading concern over access to the Pacific Tool & Guage website. I also recall commenting on a lack of response to my inquiries via e-mail and a follow-up prompt by "Global Priority Air-Mail". That was the best part of two months ago since when further attempts at the former and one more less than cheap GPA-M note has winged its way across the "big pond" but with STILL NO REPLY!.:cry: Notwithstanding the lack of a common courtesy, even if it were to the effect of "sorry, we can't help", my request for a copy PT&G reamer drawing may hardly be considered rocket science or particularly time-consuming - read significant interruption to reamer production.

Come on Mr. Kiff, press your PC's "Print" button and send me an invoice for your trouble along with this much needed print. I'll send $US by return.

The drawing will be known to you by one of the of the following:

1. 250 Klenchblaize
2. 25X47,Ackley) Swiss Match

I requested some prices weeks ago by the website email. I think the email may be playing up after their site re-construction. I can no longer access their reamer list as well. I'm not sure of the time difference in England but I would have to ring between midnight and 7am. Can't get out of bed that early. The time before Dave emailed me back within the day.

Hey I'm from Oregon and let me tell you it can get pretty tough getting those stamps in the right place at the same time your fumbling with those damn tiny primers and trying not to drop your cigarette in the powder measure!

Fax your request to Dave. He can fax the chamber print back to you, that way it doesn't make any difference how much time zones difference there is. I've e-mailed Dave before on reamers and he usually doesn't respond by e-mail, but will call the shop and talk to me about my question or reamer order. If Dave doesn't have some method of filtering out spam, he is probably getting overwhelmed with spam and your e-mail messages may not be getting through to him. My e-mail is listed on my web site and if I didn't subscribe to Spamarrest, my e-mail would be unusable as Spamarrest intercepts somewhere around 1000 spam messages per day.

Guess if nothing else the following proves I can be much like a dog with bone when needs must:

To recap I posted this note back in May and I have still to receive a reply from PT&G. Notwithstanding the odd attempt by readers to inject what I imagine passes for humor in certain US states - if not to be seen as actually questioning my judgment in the matter, I maintain I'm FULLY justified in "throwing my toys out of the pram" at what I perceive as simply damn right bad manners on the part of Dave Kiff's organization. I therefore repeat again that no less than two,2) 'registered' air-mail LETTERS have been sent from this wee isle in the matter of my inquiry and, whilst I cannot speak for what passes as formal correctness in PT&G's neck of the woods, this form of correspondence remains the preferred mechanism of HM Government G.B. when in need of gaining the attention of this office. It should then be more than acceptable to a US reamer grinding company??

I rest my case.

Maybe I just got lucky but I E- mailed PT&G for a 6mmXC go gauge and got a reply the next morning . You might just have to get up in the night and call. Good luck and MERRY CHRISTMAS

I call or email JGS and get immediate email prints with hard copies in the mail arriving x2 days later, i dont even ask for the hard copies.
Supreme mega service and its always right when it arrives, what ever it is.
Or wait wrong people, oops, sorry, cant tell ya anything about PTG, dont use them, well at least for the last 20 chamberings, or sooo.
But i hear they are truly outstanding is so many ways.
I'd call as another gent suggested.

I am having a similar problem with Sinclair Int. I sent them an email about 3 weeks ago requesting a catalog. I like to be able to order from catalogs because sometimes the online catalogs can be messed up. When humans are involved there will be error, just can't get around it. Have you considered any of the other reamer manufacturers? I know of one right here in Michigan and they are advertised on this website. Just an idea, for what its worth.

Correction! I thought Dave Manson Precision Reamers was on the vendor list for this website but, they are not. The website is www.mansonreamers.com. These folks may be able to help you!
