Gentry wing safety install

Has anyone had one of these installed on a Remington 700? Who did the work, how much did the work cost and were your happy with it? Can the M700 trigger safety be removed/disabled?

I looked into this a few years back, and talked with Dave Gentry when Remington announced their safety recall. I have a 7mm Rem. Mag. that is the older model that requires the safety off to unload, which was in the voluntary recall to send to a Remington authorized shop to have the newer (but pre-2006 ISS safety) installed. PITA to transport to a gunsmith from my area, so I opt to always point the muzzle in safe direction, the strong habit I was brought up with, and "Never trust a mechanical safety!" for another. The Gentry Custom Model 70-style safety replaces the stock version, reducing the number of parts, which is a shortcoming of the Remington. Savage has always been cheaper, but now their accuracy is getting up there. Fewer parts mean faster working times, and better machining now makes those moving parts work together more smoothly.
