Remington safety, instead of original one?

I`ve installed a Canjar trigger on my latest project and my question is where to buy a safety from?
The only one I know of is Gentry, great ones but a bit on the expensive sida, for the moment.
Or perhaps someone has a Gentry laying around that will fit a Rem 700 LA?

I believe that Dave Kiff at Pacific Tool has them now. I have a Gentry and they are a real pain to install. I would not buy a Gentry again for that reason.

I can't remember where I saw it, but there is one gunsmith who installed a winchester 70-style three-position safety on a remington 700 and quite frankly it looked great.

The thread timing on the bolt shroud is not always timed right. Dave Kiff's is the Winchester type. I believe Ed LaPour makes them also and his is top quality. I think that they look very nice.

Dave's are around $100 bucks I believe and they look very nice. Ed Lapour's stuff is all top of the line as Butch said, but also very pricey compared to Kiff...
