Gempro battery life ?

Kinda curious... I was starting to think about getting one of these for loading at the range, but then saw a post or two about the battery life being pretty short and the scale accuracy being really sensitive to battery voltage. Any one here experienced anything like this?

I just loaded with mine tonight for the first time. I AM IMPRESSED. And I wouldn't worry about battery life. 4 AAA batteries equal 6 volts. It wouldn't be difficult to wire a 6 volt lantern battery in place of the AAA batteries if battery life should become a problem.
