Gehmann rear aperture ID thread

Can anyone tell me the thread pitch for the ID threads on a Gehmann style rear sight aperture?

I believe the threads on the shank that goes into the sight are M10.5, but I would need to go get my calipers to verify.

Could you be a bit more specific on which threads you're interested in? Not sure if the shank is the one you're interested in.

If you are asking about the threads in a conventional rear sight, like a Warner, Phoenix, etc, the thread is 9.5mm x 1.0 mm.

Somewhat difficult to find taps/dies in that pitch.

The thread on the OD of the aperture shank is M9.5x1.0. I’m asking about the thread on the ID of the shank.

Be sure which you have. They actually have 3 different sizes but I'm not sure what they are.
