GAS BLOCK

I'm looking for an ADJ. GAS BLOCK for my AR10 DPMS LR 308. The OD barrel is .920 in front of the factory block. I can find .750, .875, .935. What size do I look for???

If the muzzle is .920...your gas block is most likely .936" give or take a few thou.

I can't find .920, so I didn't know whether to go bigger or smaller. It was suggested that I turn down the barrel, or but a new one.
Both seemed a bit extensive.

I would guess if it’s a DPMS barrel, you could call them and they would provide you the size of gas block you need. Better yet, they could provide you the exact block they recommend and have tested for your barrel.

I highly doubt it's a .920". The area at the gas block is probably .936" and the barrel is turned down to .920" after the gas block. Take it off and measure.
