Finally got a fairly calm day to shoot this 17HMR upper on my AR15 Lower!

I think that sorting by rim thickness helps in eliminating the flyers. I just sorted the CCI A17 ammo. The older Hornady ammo just won't shoot under an 1". Now the Winchester ammo really surprised me, however, I will probably just by the CCI A17 for now.

Just to be clear, the groups you shot on paper were at 200Y too?

yeah!

I once had a converted Ruger 10/22MAG with a Green Mountain 17HMR barrel that would shoot into 1" at 200 yards on a DEAD CALM no wind day!

That little 17gr pill doesn't have a chance even in a slight breeze!
