Garmin chronograph holder for Lenzi rest

Looking for a convenient way to mount a Garmin chrono to my Lenzi rest with the 4" top, I decided to design and print my own. The holder just slips over the left post after the black cap is removed. As a bonus, you can secure the chrono in the holder with the cap (which has 1/4-20 threads) while using.

looking good Bob, I got one from a vendor but it was a total waste of money, I'd like to buy one if you can make me one.....se ya Saturday.

My idea:
Procure a metric bolt, drill and tap a 1/4-20 threads into the bolt hex.

Remove either left or right cap of a SEB rest and thread the assembly into the post, thread the Garmin chronograph onto the 1/4” stud and adjust the chronograph down range.

I put a leather “gasket” between the fixture and the rest. A thick o-ring would work too.
