I'm getting my Fx120i v3 combo tomorrow.
I have been using Tubb dust for a while and most all my powder has it added. I haven't had any issues with the dust while using my current scales (Hornady autocharge and Gempro 250).
The dust does settle on almost every surface. Has anyone had any problems with the dust while using sensitive equipment such as the Fx120 v3 combo?
Thanks.
I've used it for several years but have ceased, due to it changing the weight of the powder cup while using my Auto trickler.
The cup needed to be wiped out about every 10 drops as the Tubb Dust left a deposit in the cup even though I followed the directions of only using 10 grains for a pound of powder {500 grams} and shaking it well to mix.
I also coat my projectiles with HBN and that I feel has been a better solution to copper fouling as well as consistent velocity.
Tubb sells HBN kits as well as Bullet Coating {personally like BC's kit as it comes with some media to aid coating} and since neither one will ship internationally, I now import the powder and make my own kits.
Small market in OZ as it is a bit of neich market but it at least makes it available to those that may want to do this.
LOTS cleaner than Moly and no sulfer left behind to cause corrision...
I have not noticed any change in the amount of copper fouling since I stopped using the T-Dust.
I principly use Varget {AR2208 here where it is made} and 4831SC {Ar2213SC also made here}
Not sure if they have any "anti fouling" ingrediants.
BWT: The Tubb products and Bullet Coating {he was very responsive and helpful, unlike Mr T...}
were all just suitcased back by me after a vistit to family and friends...
If ya have any Mates or family in Yankee Land just have it sent to them and than transhipped to you here in OZ, no issues through the post.
