FX120 Power supply?

Anyone here use their FX120 on battery power instead of house power? My power fluctuates a fair bit here and was wondering if a battery would be more stable .

Thanks

I purchased a decent line conditioner off eBay for mine. When the house air conditioner kicks on the scale is not affected even though the lights in house may dim for a split second.

A battery is a perfectly clean power source. No noise, no fluctuation. It is orders of magnitude quieter and more stable than anything you get from a device plugged into the wall socket.

Unless you pay quite a bit for it, anything that plugs into the wall is going to have noise. Most of them use switching power supplies that is an awful source for noise. Unless you get an analog, laboratory grade power supply it will have more noise than a simple, inexpensive, DC battery.

I have a battery for my Chargemaster and a 'Y' cable. I charge the battery and warm up the Chargemaster and unplug the charger when dispensing powder.

Should work fine for your FX120.
