I just ordered a new scale and was wondering what else I need for it. I went back and was reading some past threads on the scale, but still dont know if I need a line conditioner or a surge protector or both. Thanks in advanced.

I'd definitely plug it into a surge protector. Line conditioner . . . not a necessity, I guess, but it certainly wouldn't hurt!

I have mine plugged into a iso bar surge protector..a few other things I would recommend is the Adams auto throw and trickler and a nice soft rag to wipe that grin off your face when you use it.

Yea I got the combo from Cambridge Environmental. Cant wait the use it. Also should I leave it on or turn it off after use. Thanks

I leave mine on unless I'm not going to use it for over a week or so. Which is never . . . .

It draws very little juice. Leave it on.

Since you got "the kit", you literally *need* nothing else.

Protecting valuable electronic equipment is often a good idea - it is for me - so you could consider a surge suppressor.

As for a line conditioner, it would take some pretty extreme circumstances for you to need something along those lines. If you do, best to wait until the need is proven and then get the right kind of device.

I put a surge protector in just in case.. it’s cheap insurance should I need it.

The only other thing that is needed is the base that Jon Addis (area419) sells it’s also a nice add on. Now if I can just get the auto feed for my AMP I can just sit in my reloading room and watch tv.

You can go to Area419 website and check it out...I bought one and like it quites things down and doesn’t let the vibration move it around.
