FX 120 scale storage

Is it OK to leave the FX 120 scale and Chargemaster in the garage where its 95 to 98 degrees at times? Manuals say to keep the scales away from heat. My wife wants my scales out of the home office, lol. She don't want me to weigh powders in there. So need a place to do my charges, so its the garage.

I would avoid putting delicate instruments like the FX-120A in a garage. Apart from the heat, there is the humidity and of course bugs (lots of bugs) that likes to craw inside things and that if anything will be the end of the scale. The idea that weighting powder in a house is dangerous is just uninformed silliness. There are lots of stuff in your house like cleaning supply, other aerosols that are equally flammable but is not going to catch fire unless you put a flame to it. Heck, even your curtains will go up if..... If powder is really that dangerous, lots of houses will have gone up long ago.

I load in my garage, the fx120i will be here till it dies. It gets 90+ in here during the summer, not much I can do about it. I'd be more concerned of cold.

We moved into our dream house recently, better for everything especially the kids, except that I lost my indoor mancave but gained a big garage.
So I do my reloading out there now. Bought a $200 dehumidifier from Amazon and $9 temp/humidity meters. I could keep the garage at 30% but the thing runs all the time it seems like, so I keep it around 38-42. I also put up a cheap window unit that keeps the temps down mainly for me.
Hopefully the bugs won't get into my A&D...I do spray for them though

My manual says the temp should be 68 degrees and humidity 50% for best operation. A small increase can cause inaccurate readings. I've been having some issues after three years and just read the manual again since buying it in August 2013. Mine is powering off after about two hours and has to be unplugged and then plugged back in to power up again.
I emailed Cambridge and they suggested trying to re set the default settings. No joy as it still powers down. I unplugged it when we went on vacation in July and that's when the problems started.
Anyone else experience this issue?

Finally the wife gives in to my demands to use my office to weigh / fill my charges. After that I just go in my garage with the loading block and seat bullets. I do all my case prep there as well with the fan on and garage door open.
