I’ve had a Lyman funnel for a long time and I’m in need of a upgrade. I’d like some recommendations! It needs to be caliber specific and not super long where it contacts the case mouth for br style cases. Any help would be appreciated. I was looking at the area 419 set up but figured I’d ask before I spent a lot of money
 
I have the full 419 setup + the 20 cal head. Was rather skeptical before buying it.

I was tired of my primary plastic RCBS funnel from the 90's as the inside of the drop mouth was chewed from many years of hitting case mouths, and the MTM (think they were MTM) funnels were not getting it done for me despite trying to transition to them several times. Pretty sure I looked at everything on the market and watched videos of darn near all of them in use.

Decided that anything that was diameter specific was going to cost almost the same by the time I bought all the ones I needed, so the price of the 419 kit seemed more appealing. Since I purchased it, I keep the drop tube on it all the time. It will balance on the top of any size case so long as the case is sitting flat. It never jams despite large powder dumps - dumping full loads into 30-06 with one quick tilt just goes down the tube. I keep the stand next to me when I am charging cases so I can have it standing there waiting, grab it to dump the powder, then set it back down. Thousands of charges and the only time all the powder did not make it into the case is when I try to double charge every now and again. I can say the current 419 is the best funnel I could image.
 
I have a century 21 10" funnel - it works very well when loading cases with full loads. In addition, I also use the century 21 loading tray. No complaints at all.

Thanks y’all. Now I need a brownells coupon and I’ll be a buying it. (Ordering direct from them takes longer in my experience, I have a ton of their stuff)
 
Take a look at the Lyman Brass Smith Pro Funnel Set. I got one and it works great. It comes with several inserts and sells for around $25 for the whole setup. It is a solid piece of equipment.

This is the one I’m replacing. The ends started to not sit right, I’ve noticed half way through a 100rd loading block yesterday I had 1gr of powder stuck between the insert and the funnel. In fact when I get my new guy, I’ll send you the brass smith for the cost of shipping some of the inserts have never been used, that way you can have some spares just Incase one falls behind the bench or you have a dog like mine who thinks everything he can reach is his treasure
 
Never had any issues with my Forster funnel. Works great on my PPC or 30BR cases. Good quality and inexpensive. If you buy one you’ll like it.

For a great funnel I use Saturn but if you want to get fancy check out extreme hard core gear
 
I like my Area 419 setup, but I fought bridging in small cases that I couldn't easily see. Have since started using the clear tube from 21st Century and really like it.
