FTR JoyPod

So I have been shooting my JoyPod with the long part of the ski feet facing me the shooter but I have seen shooters with the long part of the ski feet facing the target.
I would like to know the correct position of the feet that gives the best performance.

Which ever way you want it. Ive seen it/used it both ways and dont believe it matters.

the instructions that came with mine clearly said long-end-toward-target

and depending on how you want the stick to work you should reverse the feet

I've used the JoyPod since late 2014. Had the long side of the feet toward target, seemed to work fine. Showed up at my 1st "Big" match, the MR US Nationals at Ben Avery 2015, and saw everyone with the feet toward shooter. Feeling stupid, I (discreetly) switched them around and have been shooting that way ever since with good luck. The feet sold by Dan will be a future purchase once I get a number on their weight, as I am quite close to max. Drew

My joypad with feet that came with it is 1.11. Dan's feet attached the weight is now 1.19, however I did not replace the two caps at the top of the legs.(minimal weight anyway) The ski feet won't allow it to fit in the case fully so I like to take mine fully apart after each match and zip the case closed. You can't do that with the small top caps on. Todd

Only way to know is to shoot with the feet in both configurations and see what works best for you. You may find a rare acorn.
