Front Sight Base

My question is about which front sight base do I need for my LR rifle. I have a custom scope base on top of a Stolli Grizzly II action, and on top of that I put a AR type sight base made for a Lyman type sight, to that I temporarily put my Redfeild International on it to try and see how far above the bore centerline it is. I will either drill and tap the sight base for the Redfeild or buy a Lipski base, right now the windage zero is close to the bore centerline . I got a bore centerline to sight center measurement of 2.09" aprox. So what type of sight base do I need, one for an AR match rifle? The muzzle measures .824. I plan on using my 22mm globe sight.

Hey Kent,
One of the standard barrel tenon measurements is .812". Personally I would have it turned to .750" so as to offer the greatest variety of sight bases. I have a Mo's front sight (available from OK Weber) that would work well for you but it is a complete housing to use your iris, lens, etc.. Beyond that Lipski makes an adjustable front sight base that uses existing globe sights but last time I checked does not have any way to have repeatable settings if you want an adjustable front sight. You can look at Gary Eliseo's front sight base - it is designed for his tube gun stocks but might be just short enough and adjustable enough to allow use with a conventionally stocked rifle.
I know of no other base that excepts globe sights at the moment.
