Front rests for under $100

Well kinda looking at a getting a front rest. Never had one and really I'm just gonna be using it for load development since I do most of my actual shooting off a bipod or tripod for my night vision. Any suggestions ? Mainly gonna be using it in prone in a cow pasture, sometimes off a bench at the range if that helps.

For that gun you have one of those big sandbags may be better. Itll even out the forend pressure a bit

There medium bench bag are wonderful for sporter stocks.

I use a Caldwell tack driver off the bench and while shooting prone. It works pretty well.

I made a front rest from a scissor jack and a Protektor front bag for bench work. It worked OK but I eventually replaced it with a Sinclair varmint rest.

Although i use a rest and bag now, i have shot a ton of good groups using a "uncle buds" bull bag.

Those bags are really hard to beat to get on target fast.
