You can always get a bag rider for it.I’m currently using a bipod and wondering if using a front rest for BR, would I need to remove the picatinny rail? I’m assuming there would be interference keeping the rail on. Never owned a front rest and thinking about purchasing one but hate to remove the rail.
As others have said a bag rider would be the way to go if you don't want to remove the rail and shoot of a mechanical front rest.I’m currently using a bipod and wondering if using a front rest for BR, would I need to remove the picatinny rail? Most bipod equipped rifles like to have the bipod loaded. With a rest you will need to see what the rifle likes. My MTR doesn’t like free recoil.Great options and learning a lot on the different shooting methods.
Now I need to decide if a mechanical front rest would increase my accuracy. When using my CZ 457 MTR with a bipod, it likes forward pressure and not free recoil. Would this still be the case using a mechanical front rest using a bag rider?
You'll have to try both out. Two different animals.Great options and learning a lot on the different shooting methods.

Are you shooting Competition with the rifle?I’m currently using a bipod and wondering if using a front rest for BR, would I need to remove the picatinny rail?
