Stiller Exiting Centerfire Action Market
Not sure if this has already been written about here, but Jerry has sold off the centerfire business to focus on rimfire and semi-retirement.

"Effective a few weeks ago, I have sold the centerfire business to another party. I have retained the rimfire competition business and will run it under the Holeshot Arms banner. All future issues, purchases, parts needs, warranty etc will be through Holeshot. The email is jerry@holeshotarms.com . I am still working for the new owner for 1 year.

I have built up quite a lot of parts and have retained and purchased more machines to build the current rimfires. All the 2500X series, current Lonestar II, future Lonestars with a new name, Tridents etc will be with me. I don't see any difference in availability for them. I have some help and plan on assembling another set in a few weeks or so. My life plan is to be semi-retired and just play with rimfires and cars/bikes after my indentured servitude period. I am keeping my building, so the address will not change. For the next year most sales will be through KSS. I don't have the time and resources for timely shipping. International orders will most likely still be through SPF if they are currently set up.

Wish me luck on the whole thing. Retirement may still be a 40 hour work week, hopefully it will just be doing stuff I love versus stuff I have to do. If that don't work out, I will try something else I very much look forward to this years shooting and more next year. I hope to look at a BR specific semi auto down the road as well as a few drag racing products."

I bought a Stiller Predator V just by emailing Russ through the stiller@viperactionsDOTcom address about 2 weeks ago and got it in about a week,,
I havent got a bbl on it yet but I really like the way it handles,,its RBLP single shot with pinned lug and 20 moa rail,,

would be nice if the guys on the centerfire side would bring the Viper SS out of retirement,,

good luck to Jerry on the rimfire stuff,,wonder what the semi auto BR action will look like ??

I just bought my first two Stiller centerfire actions about a month or so ago for a couple of builds so I haven't had a chance to run them yet. I did however buy a 2500X a couple of years ago to build my daughter a one of a kind precision smallbore. I can assure you that an Anschutz action isn't anywhere's close to being in the same league as the 2500X. Can't even begin to explain how much smoother it is than the Anschutz actions.

Sad to hear Jerry is going. He makes great products. Happy he can afford to retire and enjoy his life , doing what he likes best.
Good luck in the future Jerry ,

Thank you for that information. I've had a Stiller action on my future to buy list.

Good to know it may need to happen sooner than I thought.

I'll be staying on - got a kid going to college next year so no retirement for me. Curtis will be here for a year. Scott went out on his own gunsmithing gig about 2 years ago.

As far as the Stiller Precision centerfire products there are no plans to change anything except continue to improve quality and build stuff more efficiently. For any questions you are welcome to call 972-429-5000 or email stiller@viperactions.com

My first custom build was on a Stiller. Jerry, thanks for your contributions to the sport and just have fun in retirement.

Clay Spencer now Jerry. The good guys are going fast. Good luck Jerry..

Congratulations to Jerry on his retirement.

I briefly met Dale Troutt At the Snipers Hide Cup held in Kingsville Texas about 2010 or so.
Best of luck to him and the rest of the CF action crew.
