Freedom scopes

whats yalls opinion on the Freedom Scope Ive used Leupold all my life but do these feel cheesy to you? Looking for something to go on a rifled shotgun but im not so sure they would hold up.Opinions?

I have two of the 6-18s. They really aren’t bad at the price point. I haven’t had any issues with them. The glass, to my eyes seems to be nearly equivalent to a VariX 2. Not bad for mornings with increasing light, or daylight. Evening with decreasing light, the clarity is not what a Vari X 3 or VX 3 is.

I don't know but Leupold would probably tell you the would. I'm like you though they do seem cheaply made. Gary

I have 2 maybe three of them. They are robust scopes if you are a set it and forget it type of scope user. The capped turrets are cheapo and have mushy clicks. But the extra 5 or 6 rounds of ammo it costs to zero in the scope, is worth the savings on the higher end of the scope lines. Glass is good and they hold zero for hunting rifles.

I have a 5 HD on a rifle that I need better dialing feedback/results. It really just comes down to the right tool for the specific job.
