Freedom Benchrest is proud to announce the 2024 West Coast Long Range Nationals will be held April 22-28, 2024, at The beautiful Sacramento Valley Shooting Center By The Sloughhouse Long Range Benchrest Shooters.

Times and Dates as we have them.

Monday April 22nd registration and 600 yard practice 8am to 3pm

Tuesday & Wednesday April 23 & 24 600-yard Nationals

Thursday April 25 2024 registration and practice 1000 yards

Friday & Saturday April 26 & 27 2024 1000-yard Nationals

It has been a really nice to have been working with everyone at Sloughhouse to get this done in a very short amount of time. This announcement comes as we are continuing to grow the sport of Long Range Benchrest with the addition of Sloughhouse we have a organization that has ranges from coast to coast in the Long Range Benchrest venue . We Continue to Grow everyday with Sponsorships and members.

We would also Like to Announce Pacific Tool and Gauge as one of or Title Sponsors Dave and his crew have been a big part in supporting Freedom and helping us grow across the USA .

On Behalf of Freedom Benchrest we want to THANK Each and every person that has made the organization grow leaps and bounds in a short amount of time.

We will be announcing more clubs and sponsors over the next few weeks .​

The membership of Sloughhouse Benchrest is excited to be joining Freedom and to be hosting the first West Coast Long Range Nationals. Everyone is looking forward to being part of a group 100% focused on Long Range Competition.

The Sloughhouse team is working to get more details out as soon as they can. They will be posted here as they become available.
 
Sloughhouse has these dates listed as the NBRSA long range Nationals. Are these matches usurping the NBRSA or will they be representing both organizations?
 
As Rick300 indicated, for many reasons, the NBRSA Nationals will no longer be held this year at SacValley. Since many folks had these dates already on their calendars, we decided to keep the dates and run the Freedom West Coast Nationals instead. We are close to having the details worked out and should be posting them soon. One big item is that we will be running with eTargets for both 600 and 1000 yards.

I can assure you Ron wasn’t stirring the pot - he is a great guy asking a genuine question. Since participation has been so limited at our matches out West, we are all hoping that others will join us - it’s one reason some are optimistic about Freedom.
