Freedom Benchrest Florida State Championship

Hello shooting family,
Great first day for our Freedom Benchrest 2 Day Florida State Championship.
We had a total of 50 shooters today, thank you to all that made it out here.
It was a very sunny and windy day, but we had a great time.
Henry Brewer was the Overall Winner today for Light Gun, Heavy Gun and Two Gun as well as in score for all 3 categories. Mike" Squirrel" Thompson was the winner for Light Gun Group Agg and Tactical Gun for Group, Score and Overall. Mark Niezabitowski won Heavy Gun Group Agg.
The score sheets are attached.
The food today was delicious as always, thanks to Mrs. Denise who keeps us well fed and always wanting more.
Thank you to Alex Wheeler for helping with the scoring, Kristina, Mrs. Malinoski, Mrs. Bockman and Danielle for helping Alex with the targets.
I hope to see you all tomorrow for another day of great camaraderie and fun.

What a match. Great food. Venison as good as I have had, BBQ from Denise, awesome beans and slaw. Pulled chicken and spare ribs. Probably the most challenging conditions I have seen. It just never let up. Match ran really smooth. Really good turn out, 50 shooters. I had a great time. Congrats to the winners!

We had a total of 45 shooters yesterday.
Conditions were changing constantly but we had a good time.
In Light Gun, Dave Chase was the winner for Score and Henry Brewer won Group. In Heavy Gun, Richard Prince won Score and Alex Linn won Group. In Tactical, Ronnie Milford won Score and Mike "Squirrel" won Group. The winner for 2 Gun Overall was Richard Prince.
The winners for 2 Gun 2 Day Overall were Henry Brewer (1st), Mark Niezabitowski (2nd) and Mike "Squirrel" Thompson (3rd).
The winners for Tactical 2 Day Overall were Mike "Squirrel" Thompson (1st), Ronnie Milford (2nd) and Al Benarroch (3rd).

I have to thank again our volunteers: Alex Wheeler, Kristina Holden, Danielle Mezger, Pam Malinoski, Clary and Alex they did a great job of keeping the match running smoothly and as quickly as possible.
I also want to thank Mrs. Denise again for keeping us fed and always having more than enough delicious food.
Thank you to all that help set up and take down, without your help we would have had a very hard time to get everything done. Thank you to the shooters who travelled to come to our Championship match we love having you shoot with us.
Again, I want to say what a wonderful time that we had this weekend and I hope to see you all back here for the Nationals this October.
