Freedom 1000 Yard Match 5 and 6n@ RWB Tennille Ga Results

Wow what a weekend I truly believe this was the best weekend we have had at the RWB for just all out good time.

Started off our Freedom Weekend with some good shooting .In heavy gun it was Mike Wilson winning it all in Heavy gun with a 99 score Agg and a 3.542 group agg
In Tactical it was Ryan Fulcher and Scott Spellbring battling it out with Ryan winning Group 5.472 and Scott winning Score 96 and overall.
In Light Gun it was Lew Loydd winning Score with a 98, Ronnie Milford won Group with a 4.331 Scott Spellbring won LG overall
Mike Wilson took the Top Spot in 2 Gun.

After the match it was time to eat some great Southern BBQ and listen to the Amazing Soulshine Band and a awesome Fireworks Display A GREAT TIME WAS HAD BY ALL !!!!!!!
Match 6 was a barnburner check out these amazing groups and scores and it was close all day.
In Heavy Gun it was The Scott Spellbring show he won Score 97,Group 3.191 and HG overall.
In Tactical it was Ryan Fulcher winning Score 96 and Overall Mike Brown won group with a 5.037
in Light Gun it wasit was The Stevie Salter and Mike Brown Show and a lot of great shooting Stevie won score with a 99 Mikke won Group with a 2.775 and Stevie took the overall chech out the results for some nice scores and small group Stevie had a 50/1.680 4 shots measures less than .500 Congratulations Stevie . Stevie also won 2 gun Overall with a 3.885 agg and a score of 196.
The 2025 Freedom Weekend Champion was Robert "Mississippi" McMichael

What an elite weekend at Red White and Blue Bench Rest! David Matthews, Donna Matthews, Thomas Hutcheson, and everyone else who help make this weekend so special, THANK YOU! The range was beautiful as always, again the effort put into these things by David and Donna is incredible, and I don’t see how you two do it with one working a full time job and the other helping the community out in anyway possible. Thank you! The fireworks display was something to see, over 20 minutes of the sky filling with the latest and greatest. You throw in a southern rock band and a group of people that are there to enjoy themselves and what a time. It’s amazing at the difference in the environment when everybody there is pulling for each other, you would think this was a hobby for us to enjoy….

On top of the BBQ, southern rock, and fireworks, there was some shooting. It has always been said that sometimes you’re the bug, sometimes you’re the windshield. This weekend, my eyes got larger, I grew a few more legs and a couples of wings… definitely the bug! Saturday Pops was the windshield and took 2 Gun overall, Sunday Stevie woke up, drank windex and proceed show all of us how much he missed shooting this year while he and several other have battled sickness for most of the year. Glad to have you back!

The Range looked absolutely amazing as always! Such a pleasure to be a part of. We had the best group of shooters show up to enjoy a weekend full of fun and fellowship. The weather was spectacular to say the least-the RWB doesn’t see that very often and it showed in the results!
Thank you David, Donna and Tom for everything you do to keep the place it tip top shape as always. I’m honored to be a part of Red.White and Blue! Let the band play on…

Absolutely, an amazing range as stated in the posts. The comradery with great people is the best. A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to David, Donna, Tom and the target crew. Not to forget Mike and Blake for providing us some fine BBQ. The band was great Saturday night and the fireworks was just icing on the cake to another great day at RWB. If you have not shot here @ RWB it really needs to be put on the list.

I can truly say that if you missed going to the Red White&Blue this weekend you missed out on great time had by all that were able to make it there. The range was set up as usual perfect in everyway. Conditions were excellent, absolutely great for shooting! The food was great, the band was definitely putting out some of the best music and it was definitely rocking at the RWB! The fireworks was absolutely amazing and what a show it was! I would like to give a big thank you to Mr. David, Miss. Donna and Mr. Tom and everyone that made it possible for this event to be a great time for all. What a great shooting family we have at the Red White&Blue.
 
All I can say is the shooting this weekend was crazy good no sorry great so I picked a good time to not shoot worth a poop cause my good day might have got me to the middle of the pack great shooting guys But my time there this weekend was right at the top Tks Donna David and Tom for a great match and u to Milford!!!
 
A good time was had by all, this was one of my most fun trips to RWB yet! Tony and Blake helped me find the Oconee river on Saturday during the down time. Once we got back it was time to watch fireworks and the band (both were top notch). If you have never been you should make time to visit. Donna, David, Tom and the Wilson's put on an excellent match experience.
