is a 060 freebore enough for the 70 to 90 grain bullets in the 6x47 lapua

I would go .080 to .100 free bore. If you go with .100 freebore, you'll be able to shoot the VLD bullets and lighter weight bullets too. If your going to exclusively use the 70 to 90grn bullets, go with the .080. If you think you might want to try the VLD, and I bet you will, your going to want the .100 freebore.

It sounds like the person that's cambering that barrel is going by the book, and setting the free bore for the standard weight bullets, If you want to shoot the VLDs you may want a little more.
With a 6MM using 70 to 90g bullets, you can shoot out to 400 yds, depending on what you want it to do when it gets there.
If you go any longer, you wont be able to jamb a 65g.
So it depends on what bullets your planing to shoot.
