i have lost the original thread on this subject, so will post a new question. i am specifiying a reamer for my second 6BR and am trying to find out the minimum freebore required for the following bullets, while maintaining the 0.050" clearance between the case neck/shoulder junction and the boattail/bearing surface junction, assuming the bullet is touching the lands: 105 A-Max, 105 Scenar and 107 Matchking. i say 'minimum freebore' in hopes that the answer will be short enough to still allow shooting the 87 V-Max with sufficient bearing surface in the case neck. thanks in advance to whomever replies.
