Free-bore Question For 215 Berger

I'm building a 300 Norma Improved and have a question about the free-bore length. This is going to be a hunting rifle with the intentions of using the 215gr Bergers. I have my dummy round made up with shank seated just above the area where a doughnut might form. My question is with the bullet seated at this depth how much jump should I have the reamer ground to for finding the sweet spot for this bullet.

Thanks, John

I would cut it .010 off the lands with the bullet base located in the neck to allow for chasing the lands due to throat erosion if you anticipate that and also seating deeper in the neck if the rifle wanted that for best accuracy
