you don’t have to use lemishine but instead just a citric acid powder. Add a 9mm cap full of it to the water. Helps with water spots and make it shine.
Too much and you turn brass pink/rose as others mentioned.
I just give it a quick squirt or two of dawn n real measuring
Lemon juice is a lot cheaper than the powder above. I use 1/2 oz and a squirt of Dawn in my tumbler. I use all the pins and hot tap water filling only an inch or two above the top of the brass.
