Frankford Arsenal Intellidropper

I bought one of these about 3 yrs ago and have used it about ten times. Went to use it about 2 months ago and the screen wouldn't light up and dispenser tube would just spin erratically. Contacted them and with 0 hassle they sent me a new one. So kudos for that. My question is would there be some kind of factory reset a person could perform to get it back working or just chuck it? Anyone have any knowledge on this? Just wondering

If it was me and I had that question rolling around in my head I would have asked them while I had them on the phone. If it was an afterthought for me, I'd call back and ask them.
I own one and I haven't seen anything on them or about them to reset the screen. I could be wrong.....so I'd call.

Before you just chuck it, open it up and pull all the cables/connectors and then simply put them back. Electronics will sometimes loose a connection through oxidation or simply back out of connector. Removing the cable/connector can clear the oxidation or simply re-establish the connection. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't but it doesn't cost anything.

I revived a RCBS Chargemaster that was out of warranty this way.

Well here it is a couple years later after Frankford Arsenal sent me the replacement Intellidropper. Again sparsely used and this one just drifts erratically from -24 to plus 40. If I can get it to hold steady just for a minute I throw on a known weight and it reads 20 grains low. No I'm not actively using it. Just have to say don't go cheap if you want an autothrower.

^^^^^EXACTLY^^^^^
Buy cheap…. Get cheap… and all the associated frustrations that go along with it!
Buy once, cry once because long after you have forgotten the price, you will be satisfied with the quality.

I just loaded 200 rounds on mine yesterday. I've used mine for at least 10,000 rounds by now.
However it may drift a tenth once in a while. That for me is easy to deal with.
I do have a FX-120i. I bought it when it had a $150.00 rebate and selling for $500.00.
I owned it for about 5 years and I finally took it out of the box and used it last August. It's a fantastic scale....way faster than a Frankford Arsenal Intellidropper, also the accuracy to get to the hundredth.
My Frankford Arsenal Intellidropper and my buddy's drop charges accurate enough to give us 4-5 in ES in 6br and 6.5 Creedmoor. The Frankford Arsenal Intellidropper is cheap, that's why I bought it. I'm not disappointed. I have a great backup.
