The shooting sports community lost a true friend this morning. I was just notified by Paul Becigneul that his father Francis passed away this morning. Francis was a true promoter of the sport, especially in the Benchrest area, both group and score shooting. He was a truly remarkable guy with a great sense of humor. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers. Our world is truly diminished.

I shot with Francis at Harrison Mi. in the 90's and early2000's. I'll never forget all the good advice and tips he gave me and how he made me feel welcome and like he had known me all his life. RIP Francis.

RIP. Exchanged a couple e-mails with Francis several years ago when I bought one of Paul's barrel vises.
Was not fortunate enough to ever meet him or Paul.

Francis was a great guy he shot at the Boone Valley Ikes IBS Nationals I always enjoyed talking with him RIP Francis

Paul and family, i'm sorry to hear of his passing. We corresponded quite a bit over time, not lately but in the past. I had the pleasure of meeting him at several IBS winter meetings in PA. A lovely person and I'm happy to have made his acquaintance. Greg

So sorry to hear this. My prayers go out to Paul and the entire family. Francis used to come down to GA to shoot matches at MGGOA and he was always a joy.
