The Forum started two decades ago after the Forum Boss started shooting a 6BR rifle. That inspired him to start the 6mmBR.com website, which, in turn became AccurateShooter.com.

In case you didn’t read the full opening post, that last paragraph is something to be considered, I posted it below. If you’re getting something out of this forum it might be worth giving back. A gold membership for 50 bucks is peanuts compared to all the knowledge and know how you find here, not to mention the many members who help with any reloading, competition or gun question you can think of. Forum Boss has to do this out of a labor of love, I don’t know many who would work day after day and put up with the hassle of fraudsters, keep the bulletin active, help sort issues for members, work holidays and more especially in the middle of their golden years. Consider a membership or hit the donate button. There is a mountain of knowledge to be found here and some of the best people who are willing to help you’ll find anywhere.

Agree 100%. The Forum is the best place to be if one wants to learn and share as they go. The cost of a Gold Membership is so little when compared to everything it has to offer. Thank you Boss for a job well done.
 
I've already commented, but I want to add, this FORUM is the least expensive entertainment of just about anything I have available, and I actually learn a lot from it.

I joined several years back and didn't contribute because I didn't have too, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized how much I got from it and how much time I spent just learning from others. Maybe someday I can actually share some of what I've learned to help someone.

I think this is worth considering.

I would have thought the number would be higher than 3.5% of the members contributing. It should be.
I doubt that all 75,000 members look at this FORUM daily or even weekly, but there are many that do. Even if a person looks at it occasionally and gets something out of it, how much is that information worth in a year's time. Many time, if it helps at all, it's probably worth more than the suggested donation.

What I find bothersome is the number of members who post frequently and contribute nothing. It's obvious they enjoy the FORUM and they're spending a lot of times using it. Even the Silver costs less than many meals when you eat out.

I don't know the folks who run this FORUM and no one ask for my opinion, but it is my opinion that more people probably should help to keep the lights on.

I'm glad to see the FORUM is still growing, that means they are doing something right.
