Less than 4% of registered users support the site.

As the site has expanded, server and security costs have grown substantially. The software is getting increasingly complex, requiring very high levels of IT expertise. Running background checks to fight the scammers has required a huge commitment.

Ad revenues are not keeping up with rising costs. And your Forum Boss really does need a capable First Officer to help run the ship. I will be 67 next month, and I got COVID this week. I can't keep working 30 days a month, often 12 hours a day.

We have transitioned through three major evolutions of Forum software, and AccurateShooter.com now serves an audience of 400,000+ readers a month. That's combined number for the Forum, our Daily Bulletin, and the main AccurateShooter website .

Over the past two decades we have released over 12,800 articles, and covered countless shooting events.

With increased membership support this Forum can continue to grow and offer more benefits for our members.

A lot of good people willing to share knowledge and hard goods. <4%!! That’s pathetic. 30 days a month at 12 hours a day - how many of you would like to take over without much support? I suspect if the other 96% gave even $5 that it would help a lot. Can’t imagine you can’t part with that small amount.

I have gained and shared countless pieces of info that I know has helped me down thru the years and I hope I have helped at least a few people with needed info. Guys, it's not that big of deal to help out with the financial portion of the site. Buying or selling one item could very well cover your cost.

Let’s say 10% of the 65k have a question or are looking for information
4% are willing to contribute to ask or look for an answer and/ or read something that they may never thought of.
Where are the other 6% going?
If it’s a magazine, forget it. I used to subscribe to maybe 8 magazines. Long since stopped. Many had nothing of any interest at all as time went by. And their prices climbed. And no ability to ask anything ever.
I guess there are other sites certainly but so far I’ve not found one as good as this.
I consider it cheap for what you can get.
For me some very nice relationships developed .
There really is no dollar amount one can put on that.
