I don't know if they are that swamped with orders, or if being located in Illinois has some affect on their business/filling orders. I had a Forster F/L sizing die on back order for 4+ months, and gave up and in for a Redding to replace it and got it in less that a week.
And end up having it as a press on the bench they never use if they decide to start using more custom dies or any micrometer die that does not fit. I havent used mine in many many years
I "backordered" one fro Cabelas a couple of years ago when I had some dollars on my Cabelas card and it shipped the next day.
On another note, I've got a Redding Big Boss II, a Dillon 550B and a Forster on my bench and use them all lots. I love the priming system on the Dillon, I love the way I can change dies and the primer catcher on the Forster and I leave my Forster bullet seater die in my Redding. I have a small bench set up in my attic over the garage with the presses on three sides. The bench sets in the middle of the floor so I can just walk all the way around it. Doesn't take up much space and is very usable. Having more than one press, for me, is a must.
