Forster co-ax Snap in/out Press

I have had this press for a while just sitting around collecting dust. To be honest I never looked at it closely until today. I have been a Lyman Turret guy since I started reloading over twenty five years ago.
I would be interested to hear from owners of the Forster as to how it is being used as to multiple calibers being loaded for and the utility of the snap in/out feature as well as the "floating" universal case holder. All advice, information suggestions and tips for use will be greatly appreciated.

Wes you referring to CoAx press?

If so that's what I use. Very fast to switch calibers I'm loading for. Sizes very smooth and collects all primers in a tube so it doesn't make mess everywhere. Takes me probably 5 seconds to change dies to different caliber. Dies are spot on every time.

And it is built well enough that you can C clamp it to bench and size/seat bullets without any slop. Feels equally solid as other press properly secured with bolts.

Yep that's the one. I ran a new piece of Lapua bass through a 21st Century expander mandrel after dropping it on the floor putting the dent to the rim. I turned the brass three times in the case holder, then checked it for concentricity on a 21st Century (can you tell I like 21st Century ) concentricity gauge. The dial barely moved on the gauge. I am impressed.

I use forester or Whidden lock rings too. Feel like it does better rather than the slimmer/smaller rings like RCBS

I feel it does very good job. I'd be curious to what my cases measure on concentricity/runout.

When I seat bullets I seat just in neck, then rotate to final seating

I like because I can set up my dies and never have to touch them again. I know you can do this with other dies but it seems easier with with my Forrester. I don't have to screw the die in and out.

I shoot an oddball rim size and even with buying the correct snap in type shell holder I get less run out on sized brass. I seat most of my competition brass on an arbor system, but in my opinion, the co-ax is a huge value.

Wes,
I use a Forster Coaxial and a K&M Arbor Press.
I bought several of the ring adapters and have them on all my dies. Quick change for the Forster.

Wish the shellholder jaws were quickchange too, but that's easily solved by buying another and leaving one at large and one at small ;)

I found a second barely used one at a nice price and that is what I did.

Me thinks there's some BS in this post. 25 years reloading and has not a clue of the Bonaza/Forster coax press? Dropping a case and bending the rim. What F__ing rim? Then fixing it by rotating it in the press. WOW! WTF!

This makes no sense. He was saying he dropped case then used the press and it had basically no run out. Which is a positive thing. This press is awesome

Yes, that's what I did when I got the chance of an as new example at half price. That one does nothing but 223 and my original press has the shellholder in the other position to do everything else.

It's still my favourite press model, although I'd rather have an RCBS Rockchucker if I were doing lots of heavy duty full-length resizing on larger than 308 size cases.

The only. Press I use is a co-ax it has snap in dies and no shell holder the handle is removed also
I seat the primers the same ever time because of the way it is made .
I do use a arbor press go seating. Not because I get better bullets .
