Demand > Supply. Simple, classic economics at work here. I suspect part of the drive in demand is the PRS crowd. The group I follow on facebook (Missouri Steel Tactical) suggest this press about 7/10 when someone asks for a press recommendation. As that sport grows and the participants get into reloading the coax seems to be the most frequently suggested press.
I wanted to upgrade from my ten year old Lee Breech Lock Challenger. I tried the coax last month after reading lots of reviews and recommendations and I couldn't live with the Ergonomics. I tried mounting it several ways and tried adjusting my set up and no matter what I did I couldn't get comfortable. Brownells was gracious enough to take it back. Ended up with a Lee Classic Cast with Breech Lock. Very happy with it.
