Forming 6mm PPC from 7.62x39 brass

Perhaps this has been covered before, but are there any advantages or disadvantages to forming 6PPC brass from 7.62x39 ? I was just wondering.

I think that 7.62x39 is large rifle primer vs the small rifle of the 220 Russian.

I found the head to be too difficult to size down in the ppc die...Did not want to ruin my die so quit after 2 or 3 efforts...Got some new Lapua 7.63x39 I will sell cheap..$0.40 each shipped (if I can find them) just moved to a smaller place..All my gear is downsized into 6 layers deep in the garage...LT

Just curious..... what would you (hope to) gain from this as opposed to buying 220 Russian or Norma 6ppc brass already or nearly ready to load and fire accurately?? ??? WD
