form fire new brass to improved cycl. method

I own a .300 HH mag with a improved cycl. what are the best methods for form firing new brass?

I made some 223 AI brass for my grandpa I loaded a bullet so it would jam in to the riffling. The powder charge was a starting load for 223. It shot well enough to shoot some PD.
