Hey folks,
I just put together a video on something a little different and definitely not seen every day — the Erl Svendsen 4 Aces, a four-barrel .22 Short derringer. It’s one of those oddball pistols that feels like it belongs in the “Forgotten Weapons” category, so I figured it was worth a proper showcase.
In the video, I do a quick tabletop overview where I go over the design, history, and how it works (the rotating firing pin setup is pretty unique). After that, I take it out to the range to see how it actually performs. Nothing crazy, just a little curiosity piece for anyone who’s into unusual handguns or quirky designs from the past.
If you’re interested in checking it out, here’s the link:
Always fun to dig into these less-common pieces and share them with the community. Would love to hear if anyone else has come across one of these or has shot one before.
