Have any of you measured in pounds or ounces the force required to seat a bullet in a 6br? I'm looking for a weight range. Least amount to greatest.
Working on a cool project.
Thanks

30 with the K&M. 6brx Lapua brass, no turn, .267” bushing and annealed with AMP annealer every time. No case cleaning other than a wipe down with an alcohol soaked rag after sizing.
On the K&M tool the snout that contacts the top of the seater die has a calibrated spring that compresses and the readout is in .001” on a dial indicator. I’m in Phoenix right now shooting the Berger SW Nationals but when I get home I’ll confirm, but I think the literature stated that each .001” of compression/deflection was equivalent to 1lb of force.Do they give you a conversion or have you ever measured with a scale what the numbers on a k&m mean? Or is it just a number so you can see deviation only?
